Sureka make hydraulic platform lift, uses a hydraulic cylinder fitted to a 2:1 pulley arrangement and a car frame which are guided by rails for smooth vertical lifts upto 15 meters.

• Runs of Grade 68 hydraulic oil of reputed make which may be replaced once in two years.  

Safety features : - 

• Emergency manual lowering in case of power failure
• UPS power backed lowering system with plug and press system
• Mechanical lever type override limit switch as backup
• Provisional Reed switches provided for landing gates for electrical interlocking 
• Hooter and lights blink when the platform is in motion to alert surrounding personnel.
• Optional pressure switch can be installed to prevent overloading beyond a set working limit. 
• Rapture relief valve can be installed to prevent accident in case of hose rapture and severe oil leakage.
